Archaeology
Stenico Castle includes a number of important archaeological remains that were brought to light in the burial grounds and the places of worship close to the castle and in the settlement of Vigo Lomaso. On display is a reconstruction of the burial of a woman of high social standing from the 15th century BC: she is missing her skull, which was probably used for ceremonial purposes.
