Chapel
The chapel is reached through the vestibule. The vault’s decoration in terracotta is the work of the sculptor Zaccaria Zacchi of Volterra, who around 1532 modelled the figures (some missing) of the Apostles, the Evangelists and the Doctors of the Church, and also the central picture depicting the Holy Father among the angels.
