The residence, that presents now traces of remarkable pictorial and sculptural decoration, still dominates in all its complexity, the court of honor. Opposite, the ground floor rooms housed the kitchen; three rooms, together with those overlooking the court, also designated for every day activities, ovens, while the well, for the collection of rain water, is situated, in the so-called “Palazzo di Marcabruno”, in which the upper rooms today host temporary exhibitions.
Another building which leads to the South Bastion possibly had a judicial function. Among the powers of the castle nobility was that of administering justice; this is indicated by the two narrow cells.
Here there was the second medieval Castle of Beseno, then included in the fortified complex.
